The Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations said, that it supports Thai Beverage PCL's plan to list on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, said the Nation newspaper. Entertainment mogul Wichai Poolvoraluk, who to take up a post of the director of the federation, said, that the federation will send representatives to make its case to the Securities and Exchange Commission. According to the official document, it has put its decision on the planned listing on hold since last year. Meantime, Thanong Bidaya, who is the Finance Minister, said separately that SET President Kittiratt Na- Ranong doesn't need to resign from his post in case Thai Beverage could not be listed. The Nation reported, Thanong's comments followed news reports that Kittiratt said he would ‘show responsibility’ in case Thai Beverage fails to list on the SET, hinting at resignation.
