Mitsubishi Electric Corporation will invest THB1.2 billion to produce a second air conditioner plant in Thailand. This reports the Nation, quoting Mitsushige Dehari, managing director of Mitsubishi Electric Kang Yong Watana Ltd., the company's local sales and marketing department. The modern plant will make Thailand Mitsubishi Electric the largest production base for air conditioner products. The new plant will be opened in September. Expected, that it will double the unit's annual capacity for air conditioner products to over 3 million units from 1.5 million. Dehari declaimed, that around 90 percent of the output will be for exported.
