Mohsen Pak-Ayeen, the Iranian Ambassador to Thailand, said in Bangkok on Monday, that the country's nuclear know-how has been got through self-reliance. He declaimed at the Thai national TV, that Western states' resistance to Iranian scientific progress can be traced to their spirit of arrogance and expansionism. He expressed regret over the influence, exerting by some powers over some other international organizations. ‘The world should know that Iran has not violated the nuclear safeguards regime and that the country's nuclear know-how is for peaceful purposes’, he said. The Iranian Ambassador repeated, that Iran's decision to resume peaceful nuclear outputs was not correspond with previous agreements, signed between Tehran and the European troika - Germany, France and Britain. ‘We always give priority to diplomacy over hostility, but we are right in demanding concessions to materialize our goal of accessing peaceful nuclear energy just as we give concessions to the European side’, he said with the regard to the present nuclear discussion.
