A small truck crashed into a passenger train. This terrible event took place on Wednesday in central Thailand. At least five people were killed and about two dozen others were injured, said the rail officials. A spokesperson for State Railways of Thailand, Montakan Sriwilas, said, that the mentioned train, which originated from the northern Malaysian town of Butterworth, was headed to Bangkok with more than 400 passengers. The victims included three people aboard the truck and at least two passengers on the train. All the people belong to the Thai nationality. The truck, which is represented a 10-wheeled vehicle carrying animal feed, drove through an automatic barrier at a railway crossing that had raised from the ground to show a train was passing.
